Rosie the Roadster

We invited Donna Joyce over for dinner one night.  Actually she came over twice, once when we ate inside and a second time when we dined on the deck.  Donna and Joyce are good friends and the three of us had gone to the OBeatles at the Oak Bluffs School last spring.  (Great show, by the way.  Went twice!)  Any way, Donna and Joyce and I took off in the Jeepster to cruise downtown.  We parked by the Stone Building, then walked to the Tabernacle to see a program by African children, sponsored by a local church group.  It was a good program, with a dozen or so kids clad in bright clothes, singing and dancing away.  Loved it.

After the program we walked back to the Jeepster and took a ride through town.  Donna's hair was blowing in the breeze; you could tell she enjoyed the experience.

The next time we got together Donna said we had to name the car, and she came up with Rosie the Roadster.  So we christened her on the spot!  And that's how Rosie got her name.
